Local communities play an important role in the regional transportation planning process. CDTC's New Visions 2050 plan recognizes that local governments are on the front line in choosing and developing a quality region through the planning decisions they make every day.
CDTC's Community Planner Forum provides a setting for local, regional and state governments to share best practices in land use and transportation planning. The Forum meets quarterly with topical community planning related presentations, webinar and training information, planning grant and technical assistance announcements and the latest planning news from CDTC and the Capital District Regional Planning Commission.
