Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Do I have to join team to participate?
A1: No, everyone is welcome to participate in the events, get a t-shirt, etc. even if you are a team of one!

Q2: What if I don't know who my team captain is or if my team doesn't have a team captain?
A2: That's okay! Once more of your co-workers, friends or family sign up, your team can nominate a captain.

Q3: What does a team captain do?
A3: The team captain is your team's contact for the challenge organizers and helps with distributing t-shirts to your team, leads the effort to recruit co-workers and friends to join your team, and makes sure that your team members have the information they need to for a fun and safe ride. The team captain is also usually the one who gets to keep the Bike to work day trophy, until it is up for grabs again next year!
