The Policy Board of the Capital District Transportation Committee (CDTC) adopted the 2022-2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), the five-year plan for projects receiving federal transportation funding on September 1, 2022. The over $550M program of projects located throughout the Capital Region will define transportation in the region over the next five years.
The Policy Board also approved the Air Quality Conformity Document for the projects in the TIP and certified CDTC's metropolitan transportation planning process.
The 2022-2027 TIP will be effective after final approval of the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), currently expected in mid-November.
