The Village of Ballston Spa has recently released a Draft Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan for public review and comment. The purpose of the Plan is to provide recommendations to enhance the Village Central Business District, NY Route 50 corridor, and provide connections to key Village locations including the Zim Smith Trail. The Draft Plan reviews existing conditions, evaluates existing pedestrian and bicyclist comfort levels, and recommends a series of solutions for improved bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure throughout the study area. Once finalized, the Draft Plan will be used to seek future funding to implement the recommended improvements.
The Draft Plan will be presented at a virtual Public Meeting on the Zoom Platform on November 18, 2021 from 7:00-8:30 PM.
