Earth Day is held on April 22nd each year as a day to promote and celebrate environmentally friendly and sustainable actions. The first Earth Day was held on April 22, 1970 and is considered to be the start of the modern environmental movement. In 2020, Earth Day celebrates its 50th anniversary and is now recognized as one of the world’s largest civic events.

To celebrate Earth Day 2020 Capital District Clean Communities (CDCC) has put together a brief flyer to highlight recent and upcoming sustainability efforts in the Capital District. To download the flyer and learn more about earth day events click the image below!
