Addition of New Projects in the 2005-10 update

Overview

The programming of projects qualifying for NHS funding and those that qualify for CMAQ funding were considered separately. Due to the fact that there were more NHS funds available than were needed to fund all projects qualifying for NHS funds, all projects qualifying for NHS funds that passed screen were funded. The highest ranking CMAQ eligible projects that fit CDTC’s historic uses of CMAQ were also funded. Also, as mentioned above, three projects were funded with CMAQ funds from regional set-aside projects. This left $7.4M in CMAQ funds available, which CDTC’s programmed after the public review period.
