CDTC's Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) identifies all transportation planning and programming activities that are to be undertaken in the Capital District during the upcoming two federal fiscal years. The current UPWP begins on April 1, 2016 and ends on March 31, 2018. The intent of the work plan is to coordinate all federally funded transportation related planning activities in the region. This includes CDTC projects, as well as projects planned by member agencies including the Capital District Transportation Authority, Capital District Regional Planning Commission, and the New York State Department of Transportation. The UPWP is developed by the CDTC Policy Board with its planning partners to reflect the Region's short-range transportation planning needs.
