Federal Economic Stimulus Package Projects

At its January 21, 2009 meeting, the Planning Committee released for public review, a draft list of candidate projects to be funded by the anticipated federal Economic Stimulus Package (American Recovery and Reinvestment Bill). Due to the anticipated timetable, the Planning Committee approved a 30-day public review period, which is consistent with other MPO areas around the nation. The actual stimulus projects will be chosen from the candidate list (once approved) if and when the stimulus funding is made available.
