Preparation of this document has been coordinated by
the staff of the Capital District Transportation Committee (CDTC) and
incorporates material supplied by the Capital District Transportation
Authority, City of Albany, City of Schenectady, City of Troy, Saratoga County
Economic Development Corporation and the New York State Department of
Transportation (NYSDOT). This document
has been published by the CDTC using financial assistance provided through the
metropolitan planning programs of the Federal Highway Administration and the
Federal Transit Administration.
This document reflects the current status of
individual projects as presented by the sponsors or implementers of the
projects. While this document
accurately reflects current adopted policies and funding commitments of CDTC's
adopted New Visions plan and 1999-04 Transportation Improvement Program, the
document does not establish new policy of the CDTC, NYSDOT or other members
with regard to additional funding commitments for the REVEST projects.
The Capital District Transportation Committee is the
designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Albany, Rensselaer,
Saratoga and Schenectady counties of New York and is the principal forum for
regional transportation planning and project programming for the area. An ongoing working group ensures coordination
of the various REVEST elements; further information is available by contacting
CDTC at 518 458-2161 or at cdtc@cdtcmpo.org
