These exchanges are expected to mesh the day-to-day operation with the long and short term planning process. In addition to planning for traffic management and operations, the Advisory Committee will also focus on safety planning and security planning. The Advisory Committee will develop a Safety Plan for the region and will update the Intelligent Transportation Systems Priority Network. The Advisory Committee will provide input into the development of the New Visions 2040 Plan.
