New York is the first state in the nation to join the Network of Age-Friendly Communities. Forward-thinking communities are increasing their focus on livability, walkability, community health, economic development and how these issues impact people of all ages. As New York State government, local governments, community partners, innovators from academia, planners and the aging advocacy network chart their course in livability, AARP New York is pleased to convene leaders in this work for the second annual Leading on Livability Summit on August 2-3, 2018, at the Crowne Plaza Syracuse.
Registration and lodging details will be available soon. Mark your calendars!
