At its November 2, 2016 meeting, the CDTC Planning Committee recommended to the CDTC Policy Board over $5 M in new projects to be added to the 2016-2021 TIP using Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) funds. The projects were identified through a Local Safety Project Solicitation initiated in September 2016. The proposals were reviewed in depth by CDTC staff as well as staff from NYSDOT Region 1. Broadway Traffic Signal Improvements - City of Schenectady (HSIP award - $0.355M) - Note this project was recommended for programming with contingencies.
Nott Street Highway Improvement Project - Schenectady County in the Town of Niskayuna (HSIP award - $1.303M)
NY 146/NY 146A Intersection Safety Improvements - NYSDOT in the Town of Clifton Park (HSIP award - $3.825M)
