On September 28th, CDTC partnered with the City of Schenectady, Schenectady County, Boys & Girls Club of Schenectady and many others to hold a Bike Fest to kick off the start of a bicycle infrastructure demonstration project on Craig Street. More than 300 people were in attendance and the feedback from the public on the new lane striping including bike lanes, crosswalks, a median and stop bars was extremely positive. The Craig Street Bicycle Demo will be in place through October 2nd.
