The City of Schenectady is in the process of updating its Bike Infrastructure Master Plan and needs your participation! We are seeking feedback and engagement from all cyclists, residents and visitors in the City of Schenectady. Below is a summary of opportunities to engage with the project and how to access project resources.

In conjunction with this weekend's Schenectady County SummerNight and Parks & Trails New York Cycle the Erie Canal events, the City of Schenectady is inviting riders and residents to its first community demonstration project showcasing street‐level bicycle improvements designed to increase safety and connectivity. The temporary installation of bicycle facilities will be located on Washington Avenue in the historic Stockade Neighborhood and is a vital connection between the Mohawk‐Hudson Hike‐Bike Trail and key local destinations. The demonstration will include the City's first contra-flow bike lane and will be in place from Thursday, July 15thto Tuesday, July 19th. Come check it out and tell us what you think!
