On April 10, 2017, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced the passage of the 2018 State Budget. Funded programs and initiatives are summarized here. Items of interest to CDTC include funds to reconstruct the Schenectady Amtrak Station, funds to construct the Empire State Trail, legislation to allow rideshare companies to operate in Upstate NY, continued support for CDTA operations and continued support of the PAVE NY, BRIDGE NY, and clean fuel vehicle programs.
